CivicPlus Pay Integration

CivicOptimize offers built-in integrations to CivicPlus Pay, allowing CivicPlus customers to quickly and easily integrate with their payment gateway of choice. 

Important Notes

• You must already have CivicPlus Pay set up in order to use this integration. If you are interested in using CivicPlus Pay, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to get started. 
• CivicPlus Pay is an application that connects your CivicOptimize product to supported payment gateways. You will need to work with your gateway provider to set up your merchant account. Learn more about how CivicPlus Pay works. 

Instructions

1. Navigate to Advanced Tools > Integrations
   
   
2. Select Setup Integration on the CivicPlus Pay card
   
   
3. Fill out the following fields:
   
   

   • Base URL: This should be the default of https://pay.civicplus.com

   • Client Id: The Client Id is specific to your CivicPlus Pay gateway
   • Client Secret: Add the Client Secret for your CivicPlus gateway
   • Payment Type: Select Credit/Debit Card or ACH from the drop-down
   • Note: You must have CivicPlus Pay set up in order to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret.
4. If needed, select + Add Gateway to add additional gateways to your integration
   
5. Click Save
   
   
6. You can now build a form to accept payments and add a CivicPlus Pay Payment Event
