By default, your account has one environment, this is your Production environment. This article will show you how to create a new environment as well as clone, edit, or delete existing environments.

Create an Environment
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to Advanced Tools and select Environments
- Click the + (plus sign) icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen
- Fill in the New Environment information fields
- Name (required): Enter a name for the new environment
- Description: Enter a description for the new environment
- App's URL (Uniform Resource Locator) Suffix (required): This field will automatically populate based on the name of the environment (this can be edited after the environment is saved)
- Notification Email Addresses (required): Enter any email addresses that you wish to be notified of events such as user access requests and failed workflow events
- Click Save
- The environment has been created
Clone an Environment
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to Advanced Tools and select Environments
- Click the Clone Environment button next to the environment you wish to copy
- Fill in the New Environment information fields
- Name (required): Enter a name for the new environment
- Description: Enter a description for the new environment
- App's URL (Uniform Resource Locator) Suffix (required): This field will automatically populate based on the name of the environment (this can be edited after the environment is saved)
- Notification Email Addresses (required): Enter any email addresses that you wish to be notified of events such as user access requests and failed workflow events
- Check the checkboxes for the features you would like to be cloned into your new environment
- Click Save to save your changes
- The environment has been cloned
Edit an Environment
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to Advanced Tools and select Environments
- Click the name of the environment you wish to edit
- Navigate to the Settings tab to customize the name, standard settings, and email addresses for the environment, if desired
- Environment Name: Click the name of the environment to edit the name

Standard Settings
- Description: Add or edit a short description of the environment

App's URL (Uniform Resource Locator) Suffix (required): Edit the environment's URL suffix as desired
Notes:- This field will automatically populate based on the name of the environment.
- We recommend keeping the URL as short as possible; use abbreviations if necessary. Too long of a URL may cause issues with rendering.
- Email Sending: Customize the sending email name and address.
- Notifications (required): Add or remove email addresses that you wish to be notified of events such as user access requests and failed workflow events.
- Click Save to save your changes
- Navigate to the Appearance tab to modify the default appearance of apps within this environment, if desired
- App Banner Image: Add or update the default custom banner image used by the apps in this environment
- Color Theme: Customize the default colors displayed in the apps and emails in this environment.
- Buttons: Customize the default label and icon displayed for buttons in your apps in this environment.
- Click Save to save your changes
- Navigate to the Developer Tools tab to apply advanced styling and settings to the environment, if desired
- Advanced Styling: Customize the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for the apps in this environment
- ReCAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart): Select your own ReCAPTCHA key to use when embedding forms in your own website.
- Google Maps Key: Select your own Google Maps key to use when embedding forms in your own website.
- Click Save to save your changes
- The environment has been updated
Delete an Environment
Important Notes
- Deleting an environment will delete all of its forms, info pages, and apps.
- You cannot delete the Default (Production) Environment.
- This is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to Advanced Tools and select Environments
- Click Delete Environment (trash can icon) to the right of the environment you wish to remove
- Click Delete on the pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion
- The environment has been deleted
