CivicOptimize Productivity will begin using CivicPlus Single Sign-On as its authentication service on November 1, 2021. Follow the steps in this article to ensure continued access to the Productivity console.
Background
CivicPlus has a centralized sign-in server to allow users to use a single set of credentials across all of their products and solutions. CivicOptimize/Productivity will begin exclusively utilizing this service on November 1, 2021. Users will receive the benefits of enhanced security and the ability to use a single set of credentials to access all of their CP products.
What Is Needed?
Following the move to the CivicPlus authentication service, you will be required to use a CivicPlus Single Sign-On account created to access Productivity. To determine the next steps for your users, choose one of the following options:
- Existing CivicPlus Sign-On Accounts: Your organization already uses CivicPlus Single Sign-On to access other CivicPlus products
- New CivicPlus Sign-On Accounts: Your organization is new to CivicPlus Single Sign-On
Great news - if you already have a CivicPlus Single Sign-On (SSO) account created with your email address, your work is done! Beginning November 1 you will notice that the CivicOptimize login screen has changed (see image below). You will simply use your CivicPlus account credentials to authenticate, after which you will be logged into the console dashboard.
Note: The email address for your CivicPlus SSO account must match the email address used in Productivity.
