This article walks through how to set up a submission event to send an email to the submitter of a form.
Instructions
- (Optional) Create an Email Submission Template

Add an Email or Email + PDF Submission Event to a form
- Click the plus sign next to the Email Addresses field
- Select the Email Address Submission Metadata to pull the submitting user's email address
Note: This will only be available if the submitting user has logged in. Learn more about Submission Data Injection. - (Optional) Toggle on the Use email template option and select the template you created from the drop-down
- Click Save
- When a user submits the form, they will now receive the templated email
